Gas Grill Pizza
- 1 loaf frozen white bread, thawed
- 12 oz. bulk sausage or hamburger, browned and drained
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3/4 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- In small bowl, mix together tomato sauce, basil, sugar, oregano and garlic powder.
- Grease heavy skillet (iron skillet) and spread bread dough in bottom and slightly up the sides. Sprinkle with cooked meat and mushrooms.
- Spread tomato sauce mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Mozzarella cheese and 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at medium-high heat until golden brown, approximately 40 to 50 minutes.
- Let pizza set 10 minutes.
- Sliced olives may be added to pizza the last 15 minutes of cooking, if desired.
