Slow Cooker Beef Stew

  1. Cut beef steak into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Cut carrots into 1 inch pieces.
  3. Cut red potatoes into quarters.
  4. In a large skillet, brown beef on all sides.
  5. In a 5-quart slow cooker, combine the vegetables and pour tomatoes over top.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk the flour, tomato paste, and broth until smooth.
  7. Stir in salt, garlic, and pepper.
  8. Pour into the slow cooker.
  9. Top with beef.
  10. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
