Ground Beef Creole With Rice

  1. Forty-five minutes before serving, in 12-inch skillet, over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is browned (about 10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  2. Spoon off excess fat.
  3. Drain tomato liquid into meat mixture.
  4. Set tomatoes aside.
  5. Add pepper, celery, paprika, salt and pepper to meat mixture.
  6. Heat to boiling.
  7. Reduce heat to low.
  8. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes until vegies are tender.
  9. Stir occasionally.
