Pretzel Pandemonium
- 2 c. finely crushed pretzels
- 3/4 c. melted margarine
- 1/3 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries, thawed
- 2 c. boiling water
- Combine pretzels, margarine and 1/3 cup sugar.
- Press onto bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes. Cool.
- Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and egg.
- Mix until well blended.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread over crust.
- Chill. Dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water.
- Add strawberries. Chill until partly set.
- Pour over cream cheese layer.
- Chill until firm.
