Suzanne'S Manicotti With Beef
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 16 oz. cottage cheese (small curd)
- 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp. salt (can omit)
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 14 to 16 manicotti shells (one box)
- 48 oz. spaghetti sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 4 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated
- Brown ground beef with garlic powder (drain).
- Add cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, salt and mayonnaise; mix well.
- Cook manicotti shells as directed on package, drain and cool on wax paper.
- Stuff each shell with beef mixture and place in lasagna-size baking dish.
- Cover with spaghetti sauce.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 10 to 15 minutes.
