Frozen Fruit Salad

  1. Drain
  2. orange
  3. sections,
  4. reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to
  5. make
  6. 1/2
  7. cup.
  8. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add measured liquid and chill until slightly thickened.
  9. Blend sour cream
  10. and
  11. mayonnaise
  12. into gelatin;
  13. chill again until thickened.
  14. Fold
  15. in
  16. orange
  17. sections, marshmallows and nuts. Spoon into 8-inch square pan or 8 x 4-inch loaf pan and freeze until firm.
  18. Unmold and
  19. garnish
  20. wtih
  21. crisp salad greens and additional fruit, if desired.
  22. Makes 5 cups or 10 servings.
