Golden Apple Cake
- 3 Golden Delicious apples
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 tsp. grated orange peel
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Core and slice 1 apple.
- Arrange slices in bottom of well-greased Bundt type pan.
- Pare, core and finely chop remaining apples to 1 1/2 cups.
- Cream margarine and sugars until light. Beat in eggs, orange juice and peel.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.
- Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Fold in chopped apples.
- Spoon over apple slices in pan.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes.
- Turn onto plate.
- Serve warm or cold.
