The Best Cookies In The World(Renamed The $5,900 Cookie)
- 2 sticks butter (1 c., do not substitute margarine)
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. salad oil (Mazola is best)
- 1 c. uncooked Quaker oats
- 1 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 1/2 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Cream butter; add egg and sugars and mix well.
- Add flour alternately with salad oil, then add rest of ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
- Dip fork in 1/2 cup water and press down on each cookie.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until browned.
- Remember, make no substitutions or they will not turn out right.
