Pork Filet Au Gratin
- 1 lb. pork filet
- Crisco
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. white wine (optional)
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- mustard
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. cheese
- Cut the meat in 1-inch long strips; heat up the Crisco in a frying pan.
- Lightly brown the meat.
- Spice with salt and pepper and put in a heat resistant form.
- Clean the mushrooms and cut them in slices.
- Fry them in the leftover Crisco from the meat. Spice with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with flour; fry until brown. Pour in water and wine.
- Heat while stirring.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Spice with mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour over meat.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Put in preheated oven (400u0b0) for approximately 15 minutes.
