Blueberry-Orange Bread

  1. Melt butter in boiling water in small bowl.
  2. Add orange juice and rind.
  3. Beat egg with sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add sifted dry ingredients, alternately with orange juice liquid, beating until smooth.
  5. Fold in berries.
  6. Bake in a 1 1/2-quart loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
  7. Bake at 325u0b0 about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  8. Turn on rack.
  9. Mix 2 tablespoons of orange juice, 1 teaspoon rind and the honey.
  10. Spoon over hot loaf and let stand until cool.
