Swirled Turtle Brownies

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan.
  2. Combine the flour and cocoa in a small bowl.
  3. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla extract in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 3/4 cup morsels and 1/2 cup nuts. Spread into the baking pan.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining morsels and nuts over the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Drizzle with caramel sauce before or after cutting. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
