Tangy Cucumber Salad
- 2 small cucumbers
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- Slice cucumbers thin into a colander. Sprinkle with salt and toss.
- Let stand 30 minutes. Rinse and drain well.
- Chop tomatoes and onion and combine with cucumber in a large bowl.
- Whisk together in another bowl oil, honey, celery salt, basil, mustard, garlic powder, oregano and cayenne.
- Pour over cucumber mixture and chill for several hours.
- Use slotted spoon to serve.
