Swedish Lasagna
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. cottage cheese (small curd)
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (2 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 c. Mozzarella cheese
- Saute oil, onion and meat.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, tomatoes, tomato sauce and 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
- Simmer 30 minutes.
- Cook lasagna noodles; drain and cover with cold water.
- Add 1 tablespoon salad oil.
- Arrange 1/3 meat sauce, single layer noodles, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese and sprinkle Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat until 3 layers.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
