Beef And Broccoli Stir-Fry

  1. Prepare brown rice according to directions.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large deep skillet over high heat until shimmering.
  3. Toss beef with 2 teaspoons cornstarch in medium bowl.
  4. Add to skillet and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer to clean bowl with slotted spoon.
  6. Add remaining teaspoon oil to skillet.
  7. Add garlic, red pepper and onion; cook, stirring, 30 seconds.
  8. Stir in broccoli and sauce.
  9. Dissolve remaining teaspoon cornstarch in chicken broth.
  10. Add to skillet and cook, stirring, until broccoli is tender, 5 minutes.
  11. Return beef to skillet with watercress and cook, stirring, 1 minute more.
  12. Serve with brown rice.
  13. Makes 4 servings.
