Pillsbury'S Country Apple Dessert
- 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix
- 1/3 c. margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 20 oz. can apple fruit pie filling
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- In large bowl, combine cake mix, margarine and 1 egg at low speed until crumbly.
- Press in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan; spread with pie filling.
- Combine brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
- In small bowl, blend sour cream, 1 egg and vanilla.
- Pour over sugar mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until topping is golden.
- Serve warm or cool.
- Refrigerate any leftovers.
- Yields 12 servings.
