Ham Balls With Sauce
- 1 1/4 lbs cooked ham, ground
- 2/3 lb fresh ground pork
- 2/3 lb ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1 cup cracker crumb
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 2 tablespoons green peppers, diced fine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- SAUCE
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- Combine ham, pork& beef.
- Add eggs, tomato juice, crumbs, onion, green pepper& salt.
- Shape into balls, (slightly larger than golf balls).
- Place in a 9x13 baking dish.
- Bake@ 350 for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Cook& stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour over hamballs.
- Bake 30-45 minutes longer.
