Quick Yeast Rolls
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 stick margarine (not whipped)
- 1/4 c. sugar (may use 1/3)
- 1 pkg. yeast (Fleischmann's RapidRise)
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 egg
- 3 c. bread flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- liquid margarine
- Mix first three ingredients.
- Let stand until room temperature.
- Mix next two ingredients in separate bowl; stir. Set aside and stir later.
- Add egg to yeast mixture.
- In large bowl, mix flour and salt.
- When all is melted and room temperature, add to flour and salt.
- Stir with large fork until moist and elastic.
- Pour in the buttered bowl.
- Butter a large bowl and put back in it.
- Cover with plastic wrap and put in refrigerator until cool.
- Make rolls now or later.
- Butter tops before letting rise in warm place until double in size.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 minutes.
