Creamy Chicken Manicotti(Student Favorite)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. manicotti shells (about 14 pieces)
- 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 c. commercial sour cream
- 4 c. chicken, boiled or baked, finely chopped or shredded and firmly packed
- 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped in food processor
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms (undrained)
- 2 c. (8 oz.) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded *
- chicken tenders (raw, skinless)
- Wish-Bone Italian dressing (regular or lite)
- white cooking wine
- Italian herbs (1 or 2 pinches)
- garlic (1 or 2 fresh cloves), minced
- mushrooms (fresh), sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
