Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. chunky peanut butter
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Mix flour and baking soda.
- Beat peanut butter, butter, sugars and vanilla with electric mixer until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs.
- With mixer on low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute before removing to rack to cool completely.
- Store tightly covered.
