Quick-Baked Pasta Family Style
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 whole cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 3/4 c. Red Mariara or spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 c. brown gravy
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/4 c. Parmesan or Romano cheese, freshly grated
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- salt and pepper
- 3/4 lb. Penne Pasta
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated (topping)
- Bring 4 quarts water to boil.
- Heat a large frying pan and add the oil, beef and garlic.
- Saute until the meat is tender and then drain excess fat.
- Add all remaining ingredients except cheese for topping.
- Add pasta to water.
- Simmer the mixture while pasta cooks until just barely tender.
- Drain pasta and mix it with the sauce.
- Pour all into 3 quart glass rectangle dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes. Great to freeze then microwave.
