Holiday Prune Butter Bread

  1. For prune butter, in a saucepan, combine prunes, lemon juice and 3/4 cup of water.
  2. Bring to boiling.
  3. Reduce heat.
  4. Simmer, covered, for 40 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in honey.
  6. Cool. Place in a food processor bowl.
  7. Process until smooth.
  8. Cover and cool.
