Chocolate Zucchini Bread
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sour milk
- 2 1/2 c. flour, unsifted
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 2 c. zucchini, shredded
- 1/4 c. chocolate chips
- Cream margarine, oil and sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla and sour milk.
- Mix together all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
- Beat well.
- Stir in zucchini.
- Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.
- Sprinkle top with chocolate chips.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
- I bake these in small loaf pans for same amount of time.
- They freeze well and make great holiday gifts.
