Green Bean & Shiitake Mushroom Sauté

  1. Cook beans until good and tender.
  2. In a large non stick skillet over medium-high heat cook mushrooms and onion in hot oil for 5 minutes, stirring.
  3. Add garlic and thyme to mushrooms; cook, stirring, 1 minute more.
  4. Stir in broth, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper; bring to a boil, scraping the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
  5. When ready to serve, pour over green beans, and toss to coat. Makes 6 servings.
