Mounds Candy Pieces
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 2 (14 oz.) pkg. Baker's coconut
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 bar paraffin wax
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- Mix all the ingredients together, except paraffin wax and chocolate chips.
- Pat to desired thickness on a greased (butter) cookie sheet.
- Place in the refrigerator for several hours to chill.
- Cut into small squares or rectangles.
- In microwave oven in a large glass bowl, melt the paraffin wax, then add chocolate chips.
- Stir until melted.
- Using a toothpick, dip bars of coconut into the chocolate mixture and place onto wax paper to set.
- You may place in the refrigerator to cool.
- If the melted wax and chocolate chips mixture becomes thick, you may put back into the microwave for a few seconds to make thinner.
