Italian Steak Sandwiches

  1. Melt 2 tablespoonfuls butter in frying pan.
  2. Brown onion slices in butter slowly until tender.
  3. Combine tomato sauce and seasonings; bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in 1 teaspoonful butter and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Quickly brown steak in pan with onion.
  7. Slice rolls; sprinkle with olive oil.
  8. Place 2 tablespoonfuls of sauce in each roll; add steak and onion.
  9. Top with remaining sauce.
  10. Garnish with pickle slices and additional oregano.
  11. Serve immediately.
  12. Yield: 4 servings.
