Chocolate Pistachio Cannolis(Makes 12 Cannolis)
- 1/2 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels
- 1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. sifted confectioners sugar
- 2 Tbsp. chopped citron
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 12 prepared 5-inch cannoli shells
- 1/3 c. finely chopped pistachio nuts
- Melt over hot (not boiling) water, Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels; stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat; cool to room temperature.
- In a large bowl, beat Ricotta cheese until smooth.
- Add cream cheese, confectioners sugar, citron and vanilla extract.
- Beat well.
- Blend in melted morsels.
- Spoon into cannoli shells.
- Dip ends in nuts.
- Chill until ready to serve.
