Daniel Boone'S Favorite Smothered Chicken

  1. Disjoint chicken as for
  2. frying.
  3. Season
  4. with salt and pepper and a dash of paprika.
  5. Roll in flour and brown quickly in fat. Then placetn
  6. baking
  7. dish.
  8. Add remaining ingredients.
  9. Cover the dish tightly and bake in a hot oven for about 2 hours or until chicken istender.
  10. When it is done, uncover and brown top.
  11. Add more
  12. milkthile
  13. cookingtf necessary. Serve from the baking dish.

  19. the morning for one hour and antour
  20. before
  21. dinner returned to oven to finish cooking.
