Chunky Macadamia Nut White Chocolate Cookies
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. (6 oz.) vanilla milk morsels or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. white chocolate flavor baking bars, cut into chunks
- 1 (7 oz.) jar Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
- Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer until fluffy. Gradually add sugars, beating well.
- Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Combine flour and next 3 ingredients.
- Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in morsels and nuts; drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove to wire racks to cool.
- Yield: 3 dozen.
