Cocktail Meatballs

  1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Mix well. To form
  3. meatballs,
  4. use
  5. 1
  6. tablespoonful of meat mixture and roll into
  7. balls.
  8. Heatthortening in large skillet on medium heat. Cook
  9. meatball
  10. until
  11. brown on the outside and done on the inside.
  12. You
  13. can
  14. also broil meatballs until done.
  15. Drain meatballs well
  16. and
  17. put to the side.
  18. In a medium saucepan on low heat,
  19. heat jelly until it is a liquid, stirring constantly.
  20. Then add chile sauce.
  21. Continue stirring until hot.
  22. Pour over meatballs.terve
  23. very warm.
  24. Makes 10 servings.
  25. Can be made ahead, freezes well.
  26. Sauce tastes better if made ahead.
