Sausage Stuffing(For Turkey)

  1. Soak the bread in water for about 1/2 hour.
  2. Next, mix all prepared ingredients together, making sure the bread was well distributed with the other ingredients.
  3. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  4. Stuff turkey and close skin.
  5. Bake as usual.
  6. Makes enough stuffing for a 12 to 16 pound turkey.
  7. Use a sage-flavored sausage for an extra flavor.
  8. This stuffing will help keep the turkey moist from the inside.
  9. Cut the recipe down to stuff a roasting hen or other bird.
  10. Any stuffing that will not fit inside the bird can be baked in a casserole until hot all the way through.
