Strawberry Delight
- 1 (10 oz.) angel food cake
- 1 (16 oz.) frozen strawberries
- 1 small strawberry Jell-O
- 2 small vanilla instant pudding
- 1 c. milk
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
- 4 c. ground almonds
- 3/4 c. zwieback toast, ground
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 to 3 bottles cherries with stems
- red and green sugar
- Put milk and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add toast, nuts and almond extract.
- Mix until well blended.
- Wet hands.
- Shape almond mixture around cherries in the shape of a bell.
- Roll bell in red or green sugar.
- Keep refrigerated until served.
- Makes about 50 bells.
