Zippy Pork Barbecue Sandwiches
- 2 to 2 1/2 lb. pork sirloin roast
- 5 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 bottle ketchup (14 oz.)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. yellow mustard
- 1/8 tsp. pepper

- In Dutch oven, combine meat and water.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, approximately 2 hours or until meat is very tender.
- Remove meat from broth, reserving 1/2 cup broth. Return broth to Dutch oven and add onion and celery.
- Cook, covered, for approximately 10 minutes or until vegetables are very tender.
- Stir in brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire, vinegar, mustard and pepper.
- Remove meat from the bones and discard fat and bones.
- Chop or shred remaining meat.
- Add meat to mixture in Dutch oven and simmer until warmed up enough to eat.
- Spoon onto buns and enjoy!
