Mulligan(This Is Zada Porter'S Recipe)
- 6 lb. potatoes
- 6 large onions
- 1/2 c. rice
- 10 or 12 squirrels or 2 whole fryers (fryers are good)
- 2 cans corn (white)
- 1 tall can tomato juice
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 bottle catsup
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 c. red vinegar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
- 2 tsp. red pepper
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. salt
- Cook and
- debone
- meat.
- Cook
- potatoes, onions and rice separately; drain off
- water
- and add meat and broth.
- Add just enough broth to cover all of this.
- Add other ingredients as it cooks.
- Keep well stirred to keep from scorching.
