Sausage Dressing
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 8 c. bread cubes (seasoned or unseasoned)
- 1 packet chicken bouillon mixed with 1 c. water (I use MBT chicken packets)
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley flakes
- 1/4 c. chopped chives
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 sticks butter
- poultry seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. mace
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 4 to 6 tart apples (Granny Smith)
- Brown sausage and mix accordingly.
- I usually add melted butter and water if needs to be more moist.
- If the dressing seems moist and tastes good uncooked, you've done it correctly.
- Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350u0b0.
- Serves 12.
