Sweet 'N' Sour Sausage-Crock Pot
- 1 lb kielbasa or 1 lb Polish sausage, sliced
- 1 (20 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained
- 1 1/2 cups baby carrots, quartered lengthwise
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon granule
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- hot cooked rice or chow mein noodles
- In a slow cooker, combine the first 10 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and water until smooth. Pour into crock, turn on high for about 30 mins or till desired thickness. Serve over rice or noodles.
