Peach Cobbler With Praline Biscuits

  1. Bring to boil 1 1/2 cups sugar, cornstarch, fruit, cinnamon and 1 cup water.
  2. Cook 1 minute, stirring often.
  3. Pour into casserole 9 x 13 x 2-inch.
  4. Mix 3 tablespoons oleo, brown sugar and nuts; set aside.
  5. Combine flour, sugar, shortening and buttermilk.
  6. Stir until moistened.
  7. Turn dough onto floured surface and knead 3 or 4 times.
  8. Roll dough to approximately 12 x 8-inch.
  9. Spread with pecan mixture.
  10. Roll up like a jelly roll; slice.
  11. Place slices atop fruit mixture and bake at 400u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
