Homemade Vegetable Soup

  1. In a large Dutch oven add the bouillon cubes, carrots, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, corn, peas, bell pepper, okra, potatoes, celery and cooked stew beef. Add 2 cups water.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. If more water is desired, add.
  4. Reduce heat to simmer and add 1 teaspoon black pepper, pinch of oregano, salt, garlic to taste, 1 bay leaf and a teaspoon of chili powder.
  5. Cook until carrots and potatoes are done.
  6. Serves 8.
