Bride'S Dinner
- 5 slices day-old bread, cubed
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 4 pork chops
- 4 medium baking apples
- 1/4 c. seedless raisins
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- salt and pepper
- Combine first 7 ingredients and shape into four balls.
- Place four pork chops in shallow baking pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place 1 ball of stuffing on each.
- Core apples and set in pan with chops.
- Combine sugar, raisins and cinnamon and fill center of apples.
- Roll sweet potatoes in melted butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper and place in pan with chops.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350u0b0.
- Makes 4 servings.
