Jalapeno Shrimp Saute

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. When it foams, add the jalapenos and garlic.
  3. Lower the heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and scallions; raise the heat to high and cook, tossing and stirring, until the shrimp turn a bright pink-orange and have curled, about 5 minutes.
  5. With a slotted spoon, divide the shrimp among individual serving dishes.
  6. Add the wine and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet; bring to a boil and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes. Stir in the salt and pour equal amounts of the sauce over the shrimp in each dish.
  7. Serve at once.
