Peanut Butter Brittle

  1. Lightly butter 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Spread 1 cup peanut butter chips evenly over bottom of pan; set aside.
  3. In 2 1/2-quart pan, melt butter; add sugar, corn syrup and water.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to hard crack stage (300u0b0 to 310u0b0). Remove from heat; stir in peanuts.
  5. Immediately spread mixture evenly into prepared pan, being careful not to disturb chips. Quickly sprinkle remaining peanut butter chips and chocolate chips over candy.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. (I put it in refrigerator).
  8. Break into small pieces and store in tightly covered container.
