Chinese Pepper Steak

  1. Heat margarine in skillet.
  2. Add meat and fry until richly browned. Add onion, garlic, green peppers, celery, pepper and 2 to 3 cups water.
  3. Cover and cook 20 to 50 minutes or until meat is tender. Add water as necessary. During the last 10 minutes, add beef bouillon. Blend cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and soy sauce.
  4. Stir into meat mixture and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes longer. Serve on rice.
