Fried Rice
- 50 ml oil
- 1 medium sliced onion
- 10 cardamon
- 2-inch cinnamon
- 10 cloves
- 1 hot pepper, cut in middle
- 1/4 c. coriander leaves
- 1/4 c. minced leaves
- 2 c. rice
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp. ginger paste
- 1 tsp. garlic paste
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
- In 6-quart pan on a medium stove, pour oil.
- Add cardamon, cinnamon and the cloves.
- When spicy smells come, add onion and hot pepper.
- When onion gets light brown, add ginger and garlic pastes, turmeric powder and salt.
- After a few minutes, add water.
- Allow the water to boil.
- Add the coriander leaves, minced leaves and the rice.
- Mix and cover for 7 minutes.
- Mix again and put in preheated 300u0b0 oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and remove all the cardamon, cinnamon, cloves and hot pepper.
- Transfer to serving dish.
- If you like, garnish with cashew nuts and fried onions and serve it hot.
