Almond-Chicken Casserole
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles
- 1 (8 oz.) carton plain yogurt
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 c. cubed cooked chicken
- 1 c. slivered almonds
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook beans and noodles separately according to package directions; drain well.
- In bowl, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, wine, salt, parsley, dill, garlic powder and dash of pepper.
- In 3-quart casserole dish, layer half of the noodles, beans, chicken, almonds, cheese and yogurt mixture; repeat.
- Bake covered in 350u0b0 oven for 45 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
