Texas Peach Pecan Bread

  1. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs and sour cream, and beat 1-2 minutes or until light.
  5. Stir in flour mixture alternately with peaches.
  6. Stir in peaches.
  7. Stir in pecans.
  8. Pour into prepared pan, and bake at 350u0b0F for 50-60 minutes or until cake tester or knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool 10 minutes in pan.
  10. Remove from pan to wire rack, and cool completely.
