Lobster Fra Diavolo(My Personal Favorite)
- 2 live lobsters, cleaned and cut into 5 pieces each
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. red crushed pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. linguine
- Wash
- and
- clean
- lobster.
- Remove
- stomach
- sack
- and reserve tomally, if
- desired.
- In large saucepan, heat oil and saute garlic and onion until tender but not brown.
- Add tomato sauce and
- tomatoes;
- stir
- well, squashing tomatoes slightly. Add the rest of
- the ingredients and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add lobster to cooking
- sauce
- and
- cook an additional 30 minutes. Serve over linguine,
- cooked according to package directions. Makes 4 servings.
