Nutritious Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 2 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. raisins
- In a mixing bowl combine brown sugar, eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Stir into batter.
- Stir in oats, chocolate chips and raisins. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove immediately.
- Yields 3 1/2 or 4 dozen.
