Mouthwatering Meatloaf
- 3 lbs lean ground turkey
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Italian spices
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic pepper seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (10 ounce) can condensed tomato soup (I use Campbell's)
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1/8 cup packed brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
- In a large mixing bowl mix together ground turkey and Worcestershire sauce and onions.
- In a smaller bowl mix all together bread crumbs, cheese, and spices.
- Add the mix to the ground turkey and mix thoroughly using hands, until all well combined and slightly stiff. (Note: Depending on what type of meat you use, you may need more or less bread crumbs to make it stiffen).
- Place meat mixture into a 9x13 pan. Spread it out so that it spreads out the length of the pan, while leaving about a 1" border on the sides.
- In a small bowl, combine soup, brown sugar, and hot sauce, stirring it together thoroughly.
- Slather the meatloaf with the sauce mixture, reserving some for basting.
- Bake in pre-heated oven for 1hour 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and enjoy.
- I usually serve with a fresh garden salad and of course, potatoes.
