Smucker'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Treats

• 1 1/4 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 (16 ounce) jar peanut butter
• 2 cups oats
• 1 cup miniature chocolate chip

1. In a small bowl mix together flour, baking soda, salt, and set aside.
2. In a large bowl cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
3. Beat in eggs and vanilla, stir in flour mixture, oats, and chocolate.
4. Do not over beat mixture.
5. Place mixture in an ungreased pan measuring about 15 1/2 by 10 1/2 by 1 inch.
6. Press the cookie dough down slightly to fill the pan.
7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-17 minutes.
