Chicken Cordon Bleu In Mushroom Sauce
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 1 pkg. Oven Fry coating mix
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 can mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. white wine
- Mushroom Sauce (recipe in Soups, Salads and Sauces section)
- Flatten chicken breasts.
- Place 1 piece of Swiss cheese and 1 piece of ham on each chicken breast.
- Roll up.
- Secure with a toothpick.
- Combine Oven Fry and parsley; set aside.
- Dredge chicken in flour.
- Combine egg and milk.
- Dip chicken in egg/milk and roll in coating mix.
- Brown lightly in skillet with small amount of oil.
- Combine butter and mushrooms in lightly greased baking dish.
- Arrange chicken over top.
- Top with mushroom sauce. Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Remove chicken.
- Add wine to sauce. Mix well.
- Spoon over chicken.
