Overnight Pasta Salad
- 1 c. tiny shell macaroni
- 2 c. shredded lettuce
- 2 hard-cooked eggs
- 1 c. ham, cut into strips
- 1 c. frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise or slaw dressing
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green onions
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- dash of hot sauce
- snipped parsley
- Cook macaroni in salted water.
- Drain and cool.
- Place lettuce in bottom of 2-quart dish.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Top with macaroni.
- Layer egg slices with salt.
- Layer ham strips, peas and cheese.
- Combine salad dressing, sour cream, onion, mustard, hot sauce and spread over top of salad, sealing to edge of dish. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours or overnight.
- Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
- Toss before serving.
